Sometimes, honestly, I ask myself how I can get through another day with this headache. And while I am wondering, I keep putting one foot in front of the other, and I do get through it.
Then I hope that the next day will be better.
Sometimes it is, and sometimes not.
Today, not.
Oh, but's let not talk about headaches. They're so depressing.
Today, L and I disassembled the Union 36 loom, and moved it into the old kitchen.
I am convinced that the studio will feel oh so much nicer, with just ONE loom in the living room, and ONE loom in the front room that is mostly retail space anyway.
I like it better already.
And the Union looks like it belongs in its new space.
I wasn't very productive today, so I felt good about getting that done.
My mother informed us tonight that her TV was brighter and more colorful than ever before.
Uh.......do you think it might have something to do with the two cataract surgeries that you just had??
Maybe?
I find that there is an element of science fiction to life. It occurs to me often.
But maybe it's just the book by Stephen King that I'm reading, 11-22-63.
I highly recommend it....it is totally engaging, and makes me feel that maybe there is a happy ending.

How long will you continue with the headaches before returning to a surgeon? Sorry to be a snoop, but I worry about you. The loom does look great in the new location. :-))
I too, wonder about returning to the surgeon.
Personally, I think if you were to have the surgery, you would probably feel so much better from the time you wake up from the anesthetic, that you would wonder why you hesitated. I doubt they would even have to shave off much of your hair.
Love the studio. I could totally bring my rednek wine glass and hang out there forever.
I know this sounds awful to someone like you, but does your sitting at the loom and your head/neck position contribute to the problem? I know too much time on the computer makes my neck and shoulder muscles very tight and can sometimes travel up the back of my head causing a headache. I hope pain relievers help somewhat, although I know you don't want to live on something so strong for very long. I wish someone had the answer to your relief.
Oh I have it ready to read but first I must get through book two of Martin's Fire & Ice series and at least one more Louise Penny novel .. then I can settle in with Stephen's latest! I hope tomorrow is better .. xo
I've been a fan of SK since IT, when I was a child. When he's not going too commercial, he writes wickedly good. I haven't heard of this one, have to check it out. Sure hope you're getting relief today. :-(
