Crazy as a Loom

Thursday, July 5, 2012

After a couple of tough, tough days, I got nothing.
But my lovely namesake, and treasured friend, HILARY of Ontario, has written a post that brought a tear to my eye.
Oh, ok, a couple of tears.  I am crying easily these days.

So, go check it out.  She is too generous.  But I accept, gratefully.  More than you know.

What a charming, and charmingly photographed post!! Thanks so much for the link.

I'm sure it's created quite a lot of "monkey hunger" among us readers!

I too came over from the other Hilary's site. How do I go about purchasing my very own Prime Mate? I am also a woman who never grew up! I am so happy to have discovered you and your life. Off to join up! :-)

I fell in love with Whitman right away
and when I came here I fell in love with you too

your grands are beautiful
your loom work is amazing!!
I have no talent in any area of sewing or knitting
my Nana once tried to teach me to crochet and I crocheted a pot holder to the skirt I was wearing
at least Nana had a good laugh

so wonderful to discover you and your blog

I used to do cat rescues when I lived in NYC and before I grew a cane :)

Dear Hillary,
Live has it's ups and downs. Good and bad. Happy and sad. It's not anything we can control. Even tho I always say, it's how you react that counts, I KNOW for a fact, we can't always control that either. So allow yourself to be who you are. Do what you feel. You're so talented, loved, and admired, that we all understand if you got nuthin. Of course, what you did have was a great tribute to your generosity and your talent. And, you shared with us another blogger that I will be following from now on!
Thank you. For being you. For sharing. For being talented and strong. Also for showing your weaknesses when they appear. It's OK!
(((HUGS)))

Your monkeys are darling, I would have been crying too.
