Did you blog yet??

Mhm .... those were her very first words post-op, "Did you blog yet?".  Finally, tears of relief that this "part" is over has come.  She is in a lot of pain and will be probably for a few days, however the DOC, the Neurosurgeon said, "It went beautifully.".  She will be in the PACU overnight, being monitored closely.  Those six hours of surgery felt like an eternity for us. Daughter number 1 said that she looks good, but *I* was overwhelmed by her transformation from Superwoman to the Bionic Woman.  She is a testament to us all that bravery is only a mere thought away.

Thank you all for your caring words, prayers and concerns.  She truly loves reading your posts and I think the blog is now daughter number 4.

Hurrah for going beautifully! Remind your mom to take her pain medication, whether she thinks she's Superwoman or not, and take her something handwoven and beautiful tomorrow, just to hold and take joy in.

Thank goodness it went smoothly, from the doc's point of view. I hope for pain relief and easy healing. It will be wonderful when we once again read her words.

Thank you, thank you for letting us know. And thank you, Universe for looking out for your beautiful Mom.

Give her a hand-squeeze for me, please. Your Mom is very much loved, indeed.

You can't ask for better words from a surgeon than "It went beautifully." I'm so grateful for that.

Hugs to all of you.

So relieved to here the news. When I read about her current pain I thought, "but it will just be temporary", unlike the relentless headache she has experienced 24/7 for so long.

Isn't it amazing how people can come out of brain surgery and be able to speak coherently? I can never get over that. I am so relieved! She knows we were all waiting to hear how she was doing, and how sweet of her to say that as her first words. Thank you for keeping us informed, Daughter number 2 ~ and thank God for answering our prayers.

Thank you for posting! SO glad she's out and everything went "beautifully." :~)

She is one strong woman. Take good care of her, even if she argues she doesn't need her to. Believe me when I say, we like to be tough, and act like we can handle it - but I've been thru my share, and it's nice to be taken care of! Even if we argue about it. :-)

((((HUGS)))) to you all!
