March

Today is the last day of February.   I can't say that I will be sorry to see it go.  It has been a tough, cold month.
On the other hand, it is best to look forward, not behind you.  So March is near.  What will it bring??
I perused some of my older blog posts.
Looking for a sign that maybe March wouldn't be so bad.

So here's what I found:

2009  Looking somewhat gray, but not bad.

2010

Nice enough to start building my back porch.

It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.

2011

Try not to get too excited.

2012

Heart be still.....overlooking Lake George with my grands.

2013

Beautiful skies, but still so much snow.  Sigh.

No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn. ~Hal Borland

2014

Words fail me.

O, wind, if winter comes, can spring be far behind? ~Percy Bysshe Shelley

I think it can go either way.

Our winter was not too bad as far as snow until the last few weeks. Everything is grey, cold, snow covered and frozen. I really need the pick me up of spring and so do most other people in this country. PS: I am selling a Cranbrook loom. If you look on my blog you can see pics and if you know anyone down my way who would be interested. Any reasonable offer will be considered. Thanks!

We tried escaping winter by going to New Mexico... and it still found us here!

I don't know about you but we'll be in the deep freeze for a while longer, I'm sure. Fun to see the various years though.

A pretty good mix really...sorry about this winter though. I cannot even imagine! Out here in NW Oregon, this is the year of winter-less for us. We're experiencing the warmest/driest on record, ever. Supposed to hit 70 this weekend and farm life has never been easier. Hoping spring springs for you soon!
