Thanks, and an August sale.

Thanks to all of you, for sticking around through my 10 months of griping about my headache.
Yes, it really has been 10 months.
WHO has a headache 24/7 for TEN months?

Yeah, unfortunately, I know the answer to that one.

I woke up at 5 a.m., to a screamer, which I guess surprised me, because last week overall was pretty good.   I call anything under a FIVE good, and last week, it hovered right around a 3-4, so that was bearable.
Today, I couldn't settle on anything, therefore, I didn't get much of anything done.
I work at accepting days like this.
What else can you do.
I can't say that I am in the best mood though.  It would help if I could get this vise off my temples.

Anyway, on to something nicer............here is the woven bag I made, now it is lined.

It's kind of a hobo bag, and I love it.

I am in the process of making another one.  Just for fun.

Yes, we are having a sale.......because we can.
10 lb bags of loopers, the ones with the little textile threads that you have to pick off, usually are $39.95,  on sale for $27.95 through August.  Just email me.
Also, buy a Hip to Be Square looper loom, and get a free refill, also through August.

Going to have a giveaway soon, I feel one coming on.  Just haven't decided what yet.

Started some looper placemats on the Union on the porch.

When my head hurts this bad, I start thinking about downsizing, selling looms, fabric, houses, everything.
Moving into a one room cabin in the woods.

This headache has got to go soon, doesn't it???
Please say yes.

I can't take much more of it.

Yes it will go away. It is a matter of unlocking the secret behind having it. One day, a remedy will work, and you will be free of the headache. The point is to keep trying to find the solution. When you least expect it, it will happen. Until then, we are with you.

Here is a thought regarding your headache.

Have you introduced anything new about 10 months ago in your home or your studio? I am thinking it might be a reaction to some chemical or such. How about in the fabric you have. Have you had insect/rodent spraying done either inside or outside?
Any pollutants in the outside air? This all might be a possibility. When I go into out local fabric store, I feel funny sometimes. I think it is the chemicals in the fabric.
Just a thought.

Hilary,
I hate that this is happening to you. I wish there was something I could do to make your headache go away for good.

I know what you mean about a cabin in the woods! I wish I had one to run to sometimes.

Have you been back to follow up on any of the previous diagnoses? It just seems that it must be related to the fall when you whacked your head. Some doctor, somewhere, has to be able to help. Keep pushing for answers from your doctors or try another.

It has to get better. It just has to.

I want to say yes, a resounding yes. I hate that you're still dealing with this. I don't understand how you do.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. HH has got to go, and soon. I agree with Mary--there has got to be an answer. Acupuncture, massage, Mayo . . . don't leave any stone unturned. You have such a productive life even with HH--amazing! Your hobo bag is super--bet those would sell like hot cakes to the right crowd. Hang in there, Hilary, and be very good to yourself. Becky

Could dust have to do with it. With all your weaving there must be a lot of it. I was thinking of the Mayo Clinic too. They perform miracles there. Enough is enough. Go for the big guns now.

Do NOT give up! Keep trying to find an answer. I know, medical care isn't cheap.
Have ya tried the massage therapist yet? I'm going back to mine next Tuesday - I can hardly wait. I will try to remember when I'm there and see if she has any ideas. She's super.

My daughter in law had headaches for years and started getting Botox injections in her neck. They helped so much!! She was trying everything and nothing else seems to work.

You did have a pretty good week last week so maybe the bad ones will be very infrequent now. I sure hope so. I'm thinking you are going to outgrow them very soon. Something that starts so strangely out of nowhere will disappear just as strangely, I'm sure. Oh, I am praying for you, Hilary.

Do you think that the sleep apnea is a result of HH? There's some
kind of connection going on and some kind of disconnect re: head injury.

Need to see a specialist....this is way too long for HH

Hilary... because I've been there, feeling exactly the frustration you're feeling... and come out the other side eventually, I am proof that it can GO AWAY. The only difference is, you have that chiaria (sorry, I know that's spelled wrong) condition thrown in, and I don't know how that factors in. It may not even!... Have you tried lying absolutely flat, no pillow, on your back to fall asleep at night? And apply an ice pack to the neck area as you do this. Try it just one night and tell me what it does for you. I know the pain is in your temple radius area. Do you always sleep with your neck arched either too far forward or if you are a side sleeper, also at an odd angle?

and PS... I've never ever heard of someone having a headache year after year forever... SO.. there's that.

..oh, and do you watch TV in bed, with head/neck area propped up by two pillows? When I was seeing headache guy, these were things I changed.

Dear Hilary, what a mess with your never ending headache! I have no answer but I send you a lot of good karma for today and the next days to blow your headache into space and I wish it never come back.

*gosh* What a wonderful bag. It's adorable. So funny and shiny colours! I like hobo bags very much.

So sorry to hear your head is still hurting. That is WAYYYYY too long to have a headache. When I get ones that last for days or a week...that's too long! I'm always amazed at how much you get done in spite of the pain you're in! I sure hope it leaves you alone soon.

I never thought of using those loops to weave on a regular loom. What a great idea! I love all the colors! Fun!

when do you go to the facility on Long Island? I am hoping they can figure this out and make it gone!

sounds like you have tried everything. my aunts both suffered from the same thing . a whopper migraine out of nowhere that never went away. one aunt did allergy testing out of desperation. the culprit was eggs. she had been eating eggs her whole life but after 60 her body just said no more. she has to be very careful about everything she eats because even a bakery muffin with an egg in the batter will give her a migraine. but she is migraine free finally. my other aunt took her lead and discovered a gluten allergy and she has been migraine free as well. i am truly sorry you are going through this.

There just has to be an answer! Keep pushing for more ideas with your doctor. Or go somewhere else if you have to. Accupuncture is an amazing possiblity if you have not yet tried it. (And any event no matter how insignificant could have something to do with it. An aquaintance suffered from awful headaches for years and finally mentioned what she thought was a minor foot problem from years back, chiropractor changed his protocal and the headaches WENT AWAY. You never know....)

AND I absolutely love your hobo bag. I would buy it in a minute.

Welcome to my world.
