After waking up in the middle of the night, with a stake driven through my forehead, I decided this morning that enough was enough.
I am not waiting for an appointment in a week, I called Albany ENT, and they can see me tomorrow morning.
At last.
I hope they have an answer. I PRAY that they have an answer.
So while I am not accomplishing ANYTHING, it's ok, because accomplishing things isn't my priority right now.
Funny, how that happens. We get older, and our bodies change. Parts work, or don't work, or don't do as they are supposed to, and we adjust.
When we are feeling well, we take it for granted. When we're not, we long for that normal.
Children are reminders of how sweet it is when our bodies are fairly new.
Sydney watches for this little one, and Sydney is her target, as soon as she comes in the door.
I needed this........she makes a body feel good, even when it doesn't.
Sydney agrees.
She told me.
I am a firm believer that your age is mostly irrelevant, that your attitude is everything. Being open to new things, wanting to explore your world, staying active, I think those are the things that keep you young.
Hey, it's working for her.
I do miss the days when my butt looked this good, diaper or no diaper.
But maybe that's in my future.......hmm.
She actually got more done than I did.
I left early, and headed home for the couch. Hard to be productive with a stake in your forehead.
And don't let's forget to exercise with that broom, before we head on home.
Ah, she's an inspiration, this girl.
I love her visits. How could you not?

She's a doll. So sweet. :)
Keep us posted, H. Enough friggin' headaches!
Are you saying that the cute butt is in your future our the diaper! I caught your headache...thanks so much for sharing. If you will feel better, then I will.
I'm glad she's there to sweep the floors for you. Just one more thing you won't have to do. LOL What a cutie pie.
Anxiously awaiting to see what the doctor says.
Darling pix. My best healing thought and prayers are for you.
I so hope they have the answers for you.

I'm sorry you are in pain. I had sever sinus pain it was related to my eardrum. After many doctors said they couldn't do anything about it, I read books on natural sinus cures. Avoid all sugar and dairy. Your vegetarian diet probably has items with hidden sugar in them. I'm not meaning to sound preachy and you may not care for the advice. I also use garlic and echinacea and other herbs instead of manufactured drugs. Garlic is a natural antibiotic.
When I saw the post title, I was so hoping that your headaches had ended. But it's good to know that you'll have an appointment tomorrow to try to get to the bottom of this terrible problem.
Let us know how it turns out. Please!
Holy smokes, Hilary. You have GOT to find some answers. I cannot imagine what you are going through. Great that you can have an appt. tomorrow. I do pray and I will pray for you. These are sweet pictures. Thanks for that. Lots of hugs, Deb=^..^=x4

What a little sweetheart! I love the tail picture. This sinus business has gone on long enough...I am so glad you are getting in to the specialist tomorrow and I hope he can give you some immediate relief!
What an adorable little girl.
Feel better soon, Hilary - thinking of you and hoping you get answers and a solution!...
Aye,...so sorry for your head but happy for your appt. Hope it goes well and is definitive rather than a bunch of grueling tests.
Love your perspective on that little girl. Can't believe Sydney puts up with all that...but then again we know that Sydney is "some cat"!
