A few things I love.

I didn't get much done today.  Seemed like I flitted from one thing to another.
I can't, for once, blame HH.  Nope.  Today was a good day.....the first in about 10 days.
Was it the acupuncture???
Don't know, but whatever it is, I will take it.
More acupuncture tomorrow.   And I can't wait.

While I was trying to settle on something, L was weaving away on a pile of BIG blue jean rugs she has been weaving on for a week.   I LOVE blue jean rugs.

My patio set got delivered yesterday after I left.  L thought they were coming to TAKE STUFF AWAY.
Silly L.

 A patio set??????

What??????

Of course.......where else would we eat lunch in warm weather, without a PATIO SET????
DUH.

And a beautiful one at that.
I fell in love with it at first sight.

My towel pattern is from Handwoven Magazine, Jan/Feb 2006.   I adjusted it somewhat, and left out the middle part of it.  It is a 4 shaft M's and O's pattern.

I ordered some Arctic Kiwis, which is vine like.......so this is my new arbor, built by the crafty C.
Didn't she do an awesome job??
I love it......I can't wait to plant my kiwis.

Did I tell you my hair got cut shorter than short????
Oh, it is joy to be of the age where you really, finally, at last, cut your hair for yourself, and no one else.
Easy peasy, that's what I'm into.

Gone are the days of drama and tears.  No time for it.
Give me simple, uncomplicated, no nonsense.
Finally.   I love it.
Now I wonder why it took me so long.

Next knows the deal.  Here he is, waiting for someone to scratch his belly.

He is a sweet, sweet boy.

I love him, too.
Can you blame me??

I think it's time for that 5th cat you always dreamed of. hahaha! Love the patio set. It looks shabby sheek. I wouldn't mind one of your vegetarian lunches out there on a warm day. Love the hair. I wore my hair really short in the 70's. Twiggy style. Short hair...big earrings. So easy! I'll do it again someday. So you had a good day. Let's hope it is the acupuncture treatment and you are FINALLY on the right road. Hugs, Deb

That patio set is sweet! It very much reminds me of the kitchen set my family had when I was a young teen.

Give Next a belly rub for me, please.

Good luck with the acupuncture! Fingers crossed. Toes too.

Love the patio set! All that is missing is the sweet tea...

Just an interesting bit of info about Kiwi vines (since I used to live in NZ where they were called Chinese gooseberries) The vines grow quite lush and they smell funny. They give off a rather strange odour !
Not sure if that's the case with all varieties but thought you might like to ask at the nursery before buying and planting..

I wouldn't have lasted this long not letting Next in the house, he is so handsome and very soft looking.

Next looks just like my Sadie, who is so sweet and loving. I think it is time to let him come inside?

I love blue jean rugs! I have some that I have woven that have lasted 20 years.

Glad you are feeling better. I really believe the acupuncture will help. Treat yourself now with a soothing massage!

Uhm....what towels? I don't see any towels in this or the previous post.

Glad to hear that the acupuncture seems to be working. Wow...what a journey you've been on with HH.

Love the short Do! I'm going that way myself. But then again, I really have no choice since my hair is deciding to leave me first.

That patio set is gorgeous! So is Next, but you already know that. :)

I think Next just has to stay. Period.

Your hair looks great! Someday I'll have the courage! ...

..and I am cheering you on, so glad you went to acupuncture. Looking forward to hearing how much better you feel in a few weeks, because I believe in the therapy wholeheartedly. Plus therapeutic massage. Don't forget that if needed.

I love my Jeans rug too.. it takes a beating up on our hallway and looks great.
