Crazy as a Loom

Brightness wherever.

I have resigned myself.
No matter how much I want to be productive, I am just not going to be for a while.
So I've decided to just put my sites on 2013.
By January, maybe I will be feeling well enough to actually get something done.
But for now, I must work on letting it go.
Ah.

While at the studio this morning, O came to visit.  Now that would make anyone feel better, no matter what the problem.
She first heads for the animal crackers.
Then she has to connect with Sydney Sue.
And she says hello from a distance to Miss Puss.

Then it's upstairs to the kiddie table and dishes.  I think she would stay and play with these as long as she could.

She arrives in a stroller, which is left parked right outside the door.
Unattended.
Just sayin.

'Enough' thought it looked like a good place to catch a nap.

It's amazing to me how settled in these two boys are.
This is definitely their home.

This is the box that L and her sister dragged down from the loft.  It's going to be a winter house for Enough and Next.  A condo.  With heated beds.
And windows.
L doesn't like cats.  Just in case you didn't know.

O says: "What??? I don't believe that."

Exactly.

Hilary I hope you feel better..you are too nice, and good not to. I haven't been writing on my blog either..I needed a break for the many "not so good goings on in my life" right now. Unlike you (and a few others) I didn't take the time to tell anyone. I guess I just went under a rock. And for that I am sorry..every month I say I am starting it again..and don't...call it what you will blog writers block-depression-whatever....I miss my horse...I guess I miss my old life..yet I know the new one that "seems" to be coming, is going to be better...I just know it...

I hope you are back soon...

I think that face and those cats would make it easier to slow down and enjoy the easy moments. A condo? Those poor cats:-)

Oh, there's O. It's always a treat to see that sweet little girl. She just makes me laugh without trying. Your friend, L, is going to be loved by those two fellas on the porch. I hope she's up to it. Get better soon, Hilary. Deb

Oh that "O"...love her face! We have a kitty apt. for our barn kitty, Mieux...complete with hay bale walls and a chicken heat lamp. She loves it! Did I tell you 18 epi for those blankets? Could have been 20 easily but I'm lazy sometimes!

Lovely photos ! It will take time to heal but just try to take one day at a time and take in all that would be missed otherwise ! Have a good day !

It's so good to hear you sounding so much yourself, Hilary. I guess you sound more yourself than you feel yourself! That O is a beauty--her hair looks strawberry blonde to me. And the prospective cat condo looks promising. Being a cat lover, it warms my heart to think of them in a cat condo with heating pads. Take care, Hilary. Be good to yourself, and be patient. You matter whether you are getting things done or not!

I want to be a cat in your neighborhood!
You are sounding better and better. From here it looks good, I know it seems slow to you.
O. What can I say? That child is just beautiful!

2013 sounds like a good time frame to me...you must give yourself time to heal. Might be a good time to see Maine for a bit...

There's more than a wee bit of Irish in O. Look at that face! And a kitty condo? I think it's wonderful. Heated beds to boot!

Miss O is a charming young lady. I noticed today that her hair is growing longer, love those curls. Like the box for the boys on the porch. Will you still have the glass enclosed "sauna" type box out on the porch for them to use? Hilary, you are doing so well - slow and steady wins the race (I know it is driving you nuts, but keep at it girl). hugs

L is allowed to not like cats even tho i suspect she secretly does ... maybe not all cats but i bet your cats/the Crazy as a Loom cats are exceptions

L may not "like cats," but she has a good heart - and I bet she loves YOUR cats! ;-)
That Enough, he knows how to get comfy!
And little O, well, nuff said above about her - TOO CUTE!
How is P.T. goin? I know life will never be the same, but it will still be YOUR life. Hang in there!
Hugs

Oh my gosh, how adorable.
I have a friend who really doesn't like cats, either. They freak her out. But how nice of L to drag down that future condo.

I'm glad you are going to allow yourself to recover at a slow and natural pace. Fighting it is just frustrating and can make things worse sometimes. Relax. Enjoy this time you have to smell the roses. :) :)

I know on the days when I feel the lowest, all it takes is a beautiful smile (and giggle) from my grands and my day is filled with sunshine. O is just so sweet and those blue eyes are captivating. When 2010 was my worse year, I said, 2011 had to be better; looking forward helped. XOXO

I understand that some folks don't care for cats but it sure is difficult for me to fathom. Sweet of L to help you out with your boys, regardless.

O... I just want to eat her up.

EVERYTHING you share is such a gift. There are so many heartwarming moments in your days. I love having the kitties back again and O, of course. Enough in the stroller is priceless. Love your trips, treks, outings. Love your family and friends. I treasure how you are enjoying your moments! What a fine example you are to us all.
