Update, blah, blah.

I want to thank you all for listening to me rant and rave about my headache for the last 11 weeks.
And not only did you listen, you encouraged me to hang on, to stay strong, and to keep looking for the answer.
I have been going for PT on my neck for a week now, and while I still have a headache, its fury has been diminished by about half.  I am starting to have more GOOD days than BAD.  And I am hopeful.
Do you blame me??

I just wanted to own up to something.......that great story that was written in the Life @ Home magazine recently, had a couple of mistakes.
First off, she made it sound like I single handedly did all the carpenter work for the renovations at the studio.  Untrue.  Carpentry is really not one of my talents.
She also said that I tore up all the wall to wall carpeting in the studio, and finished the wood floors.
But there was no wall to wall carpeting there when I bought the studio.  Didn't happen.
The BIGGEST mistake the writer made, was about inventory.  I told her I had about $30,000 in inventory.  She wrote that I had 30,000 FINISHED ITEMS.
Ack!   What warehouse do I have that stored in ??????
Still, it was a great article, and I am grateful for the free advertising.

And yes, I am still walking Roy.  I have missed a couple of days because of the weather, and a couple of days when my head was about to fall off.  But otherwise, we get out there.

We had a dusting of snow.  And I am finding that 'getting out there', no matter how cold it is, makes it easier to keep doing it.  I guess I am getting used to it.

Roy loves to walk.  He lives for it, and he is the sweetest, most well behaved boy around.
Other dogs pull and jump, bark, act bad.  Not Roy.

We had a couple of cold days, and the river started to freeze over.

I love it the most, when we go down by the dam, and there is no one there but us.

Just me, my sweet boy Roy, and a headache that doesn't rule me.
Sweet.

Just like Roy.

You must feel a lightness to your step, and if not yet, then maybe soon you will. I'm glad to hear you're not in severe pain right now, and that you and your friend are trekking about on a daily basis. Bravo!

Were they just mistakes on her note-taking, or she just stretched the truth, as story-tellers can ?
No matter, I've seen the pictures of your studio, it's fantastic !
Lovely pictures, I can see you enjoying your walk, especially in the company of Roy, and less headache...
Hugs,

So glad the pain is lessening and that PT is helping significantly. I'm sure knowing that you aren't going to have to resort to surgery after all is a huge relief.

Glad you are having more 'good' days!
I wondered when I read the story about the 30,000 items. I knew your output was amazing....I just didn't think it was THAT amazing. Thanks for clarifying.

So glad to know that it's releasing its hold on you. That Roy boy and you are so good for one another.

Sweet Roy! Any day where the headache subsides even a little is a good day. It's great to hear that things may be looking up. Still thinking about you ... a lot.

Those walks are the best therapy, aren't they? I love the beach most when it's almost deserted for the winter. Peace of mind.

Hi ROY! I wondered if your mama was going to let us see you while walking. Such a good boy you are!

Sad isn't it, when you learn to live with pain. I get lots of headaches with Fibromyalgia, and I can tolerate a lot of pain on the left side of my head, but when it happens on the right, I'm almost incapacitated. Oh well, I know mine is here to stay, I hope yours will go away.
I had my sons pit for a few days, and they smarter than the average dog??? He sure caught on quickly to heeling and leaving it. I hope my son can work with him a lot, because he is a little sweetie pie.

Ahh let's just total up ALL the things you have ever made and that can be your 30,000 (Or more) figure!

Glad you are getting out and about, and Roy Boy is making a good excuse to get you moving!

What a scenic walk with your boy, Roy. So sorry to hear about your headache. I get some real monsters sometimes and they can be so debilitating. I hope the PT continues to help.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog and leaving such a funny comment -- and no, I have no clue what's going to happen in 2012. :)

Welcome to my world.
