Dear Hilary. I've been stalking you for a couple of years now with the occasional comment. My internet speed is to be laughed at here in Australia so I tend to not go to web sites and so do not comment much. There is an amazing neurosurgeon in Australia. His name is Dr Charlie Teo and he goes where others fear to tread. He has a huge success rate too for very complicated surgery. PLEASE.... look up his web site and ring him or email him. He will give you the most honest advice. If you have been under the same lot of doctors for your surgeries they will not be too interested in admitting any mistakes they may have made. Of course, he will need to see your test results etc. You have nothing to lose except a continuous mongrel headache. I would love to have you well and back to your old workaholic self.
