My 7 year old granddaughter stayed over last night. I don't often get to spend one on one time with her, and she was overdue.
She told me, "Mimi, I don't LIKE you." Giggle. Giggle.
"April FOOL".........I LOVE YOU.
This morning, we colored Easter eggs.
The best part is, she loves hard boiled eggs.
She wants to take them home. She is also taking home my old cash register. My daughter is going to be SO happy.
Then we headed over the road to the horse farm. Her favorite place.
She insisted that her fleece was warm enough.
But the wind was too much, and she agreed to wear my hoodie.
I suggested that she might not always be interested in horses.
She tipped her head, pursed her lips, and gave me "the look".
Ouch.
She ended up wearing her rubber boots, it was so muddy. This girl throws herself into whatever she does. She cleaned all the pony's feet, without a complaint.
All in all, a good day, spent with someone I love very much.
It doesn't get much better than this.

Adorable! She may always love horses. They're a wonderful thing to love ~
She's adorable! And girls and their horse pals are inseparable. :)
3 daughters and no grandchildren. I need me some grandchildren! Your little sweetheart is adorable. Thanks for sharing!
Gotta love that pose (photo #5!) -she's going to be in charge of the show!! Lucky-fun day Mimi!!
"This girl throws herself into whatever she does"..... Now, who does THAT sound like? LOL

Looks like that sweet girl has some attitude! I have a granddaughter who looks to be about the same age--we have lots of fun shopping and I have gotten her into crochet and rug hooking--SHE is teaching ME to crochet--I taught her how to hook rugs! She wants to go to a cake decorating class, so we'll probably do that for her birthday next month!
Girls and ponies just go together!
What a wonderful day. She is adorable.
Gabby always makes me think of Alexia. I'm not sure there's a sweeter pot than this relationship. We are rich.
What a lovely day! I love how her personality shines through in the pictures.
Hilary, you have a real prize in Gabby.
Love that name.
