Be a sport, Part 2

I remember when he was born.
I had daughters, so this red faced little boy was a brand new experience for me, as well as for his mother, my middle child.
From the very beginning, he had a sweet little face, and a sweet disposition. He was easy to take care of, and an incredible joy.
Now, he is almost as tall as I am. And he's only 12. Look how much taller he is than the other boy in the photo, and they are the same age.

I have two grandsons, and they are both treasures. I don't live next door to either of them, so I don't see them every day. That makes me sad, but it is what it is.
He is a smart, thoughtful, quiet boy.

Now, if I could only get him to weave.

I understand the feeling completely, having daughters, also and one grandson. Enjoy! He looks very competent and confident on the ball field!

He could be another Collingwood....he has the height! You just never know when that weaving bug will bite!

He's such a sweet looking boy. And he's got a great arm on him. Not likely a weaving arm though. ;)

All of my grandchildren live far away too. It's rough but as you say, "it is what it is".

It's hard isn't it. I'm visiting my two grandsons that I don't see often, while my "local" 10-year-old grandson is playing in his baseball playoff game. Sigh.

I just love reading your posts.. I have a 13 year old grandon that lives 4 hours away.. It's hard sometimes..
I love your cat.. one doesn't own a cat they own you..they are loving and caring and just know our feelings sometimes.
Your picture of the rain is incredible..That is the kind of rain we had here in Iowa.. 3 inches of rain in 2 1/2 days.. Glad the rain is gone ~ the sun came out and the spider climbed back up the water spout.
Thanks for your posts. I truly enjoy coming here and just reading what you are up too..

Welcome to my world.
