They sat on opposite chairs, you can tell how concerned Syd is.
Roy doesn't have a mean bone in his body. When we got him, the rescue group we adopted him from said that he couldn't be around cats.
That's a laugh.
He was so good, I rewarded him with a walk by the river.
Now to get a little time on my band loom. This is too much fun.

It is great to see your two pets get along together or at least coexist without problems. Too bad people can't be more like that.
I have to laugh, both animals look very well fed, so I would say each is in no danger. ;) I'm betting Roy is enjoying being where the action and his Momma are.
Pits are so often placed in a "prejudice box" that they aren't able to realize their potential life. Like saying Roy can't be with cats. They probably ASSUMED Roy can't be with cats just because he is a "pit". Several of my friends have pits with cats, Parrots, etc... the issue lies more with the prejudice. Love that Roy is coming "home" with you now. :-)
I met our greyhound Daniel's trainer and had the chance to talk to her about his former racing life. She was surprised to hear that he was absolutely perfectly cat safe. Goes to show that sometimes a loving family can work wonders in a dog's life. It sure has for Roy.
Roy looks so much like my Lovey. Not a mean bone in her body, either. She is afraid of most cats and gives them a width berth.
Roy is a darling .. i am glad he's feeling better
