But then the sun came out.
Not for just a minute, but for the WHOLE DAY.
It lights up the floors, and there is a golden glow everywhere.
I don't think you can ever have too many windows.
Cause when the sun shines, you want to let it in.
As much as possible.
This front room used to be my retail shop, and then I realized that it had so much more to offer. Retail got moved.
New windows, new glass door, and some rearranging, and now it is my favorite place to weave.
Wow, never thought I would say that.
I got a lot done today, when I wasn't looking out at the sun.
I could take winter a lot better, if only the sun would shine like this.
Per several email requests, thhe egg muffin recipe is HERE
I get creative with mine.....and you can, too. They are delish.
I am loving the eggs, but collection is ongoing all day, so the eggs don't freeze.
SUNDAY is February 1st, that means in FOUR weeks, the worst of winter is over.
Pretty much.
I hope.
I agree! No such thing as too many windows.
ReplyDeleteI agree...sunny days help me get through the winter months a lot better! Weaving on a sunny day is just the BEST!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. We hope to have chickens one day.
ReplyDeleteI love the sunshine and the pictures of the looms.
One doesn't want too many windows down here where I live near the East Coast of Texas. Windows let the sun in which heats the interior and the AC runs a lot more.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos I love your studio .I am the same I can handle winter days with sun shine and one can never have to may windows I love the sun beaming in my house . It is sleet snowing here right now but yesterday was perfect sunny bright clear blue sky day ! Thanks for sharing Have a good week !
ReplyDeleteGlad you have been enjoying the egg muffins!
ReplyDeleteIt's obvious why that's your favorite place to weave!!! I have 2 sets of double windows in my office/studio, on the front wall and side wall of the house. (directions are too confusing for me)
ReplyDeleteI love my little room so much. I've crammed so much into it! But it's my hideaway and escape. Sewing machine, spinning wheel and spinning/fiber tools, and now, my new little loom.
Sunshine makes just about any weather bearable. Four more weeks! Four more weeks! You CAN do it Hillary!
Hugs,
Martha
Thanks for the recipe!
ReplyDeletein my experience February is the snow month … and i looked at the recipe ingredients and was disappointed to see there was no cook or chef listed … i need one of those to make these for me …
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, sunshine not only warms the room, but the heart! And I too have looked at the calendar and smiled that the worst of winter is almost over!
