Just sad

   
I wish I wasn't writing this post.   It makes me so sad, and sick at heart.
Life is so unfair sometimes.


L called me this morning, with lots of bad news.
She lost her Mom last night, and then found Nexxie dead in the road.

I like to think that her Mom, who lived just a ways from the studio, took Nexxie with her.

But nothing is going to make me feel much better today.

    I am so sorry for your lose. I am watching a very old cat (over 20 years) wondering how long she will last, but that sudden lose is so bad. My best wishes to L. The lose of a mother is so hard, as you well know.

    So sorry to read such sad news this morning for you and for L.

    It is hard to lose a companion anytime.

    And the idea of Nex going on with L's mom is just beautiful.

    We all came to love Next through your photos and adoring words. What you did with him was wonderful ... his short life was richer for having you and Lois and everyone else in it. Love and hugs coming your way, for you and for Lois. So much loss. I'm so sorry.

    I want to go to heaven with a cat! All of L's good cat deeds are rewarded today, one is taking care of her mum. All the same I know Nexie will be missed.

    My heart hurts. We lost our kitty last Monday (4-14-14) and it still hurts too much. Maybe our kitties are friends now. I am sorry to to hear about L's mom and hope L is doing ok.

    I'm so sorry Hilary for your loss of Nexie. You certainly provided her with a much better life than before he met you. Don't second guess yourself for not bringing him inside, you did your best. Not too many folks make a solar house so their feral cats are comfortable! Perhaps she'll find her way back to you in her next life. Prayers for you & L.
