Spoiled Chickens

And no, that's not a casserole.........that's the state of affairs at Crazy as a Loom.

Today I had a roof put on the outside chicken run.

It's a little unconventional.  But that's how we roll.

Now Bart and the girls can go outside and be protected from the elements.

Hopefully, we will get some warmer weather, and the snow in their run will melt.

They are spoiled.  Spoiled rotten.
And to think I wanted to get rid of them.
Perish the thought.

  3. Spoiled rotten I'd say! Heated water, fancy shamcy coop and now a covered run. I better not let my chickens see how the higher class lives or I will have a mutiny!

Just kidding, my girls are just as spoiled...well, except for the heated water - they don't have electricity in their coop. I haul hot water twice a day to them.
