Living in the country and blatant advertising.

.Today was chicken house cleaning day.  Seems like an awful waste of all those shavings, but I haven't figured out another way to do it.
It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining.  I love October.

I realized that I mostly just want a simple life.   It doesn't have to be exciting, it doesn't have to cost much.
I just want a simple life in Kingsbury, weaving and getting old, with a headache that's manageable.
Why is that such a feat??

Getting ready for the Sale.......I never realized how much shit  CRAP I have.
I have a LOT.
So pass the word to all your weaver friends.

  1. I haven't gotten to the point of downsizing yet but it is getting closer. I have actually started thinking about selling my two largest looms. They are just sitting, taking up space and not being used. A simpler life sounds very appealing.

  2. My wife said that if she lived closer she would buy a couple looms, but it is a long way from Cut & Shoot, TX (77306) to your place in New York. And the RV's inspection ran out.

  3. I hope you have a successful sale. Stuff - we all have too much. Even in my small rolling house, I have a sewing machine and boxes of fabric and sometimes wonder why, as I am not doing much sewing at this time.

  4. Hope you find new homes for all your 'stuff'. The uncluttering will do wonders for you. I have that ahead of me! not happy reading about your pain and hope you get some relief soon. Best wishes Hilary. xx
