I got thinking about it, and decided to start a new page on my web site.
It's called "PORCH RUGS".
Because if you have a porch, I think you need a rug for it.
I made this one today. It's #1 of my porch rugs.
L pointed out that someone "might" want to put it inside their house. Well, it's allowed, I guess.
If you don't have a porch.
This is like the super duper version of my container rug. I loved weaving it, it was like painting with fabric.
And that was my project for today, keeping it simple, doing what I love, one day at a time.
Amen.
Sadly, I don't have a porch. It's a beautiful rug and I am sure someone is going to love it.
ReplyDeleteAnd it's gorgeous. I love the colours. What a great porch you have.
ReplyDeleteIf i had a porch, i'd want one just like it!
ReplyDeleteSadly, I DO have a porch, and it's not even close to this level of loveliness. One day maybe, and then I'll know where to come for a rug.
ReplyDeleteNo porch, but I do have a deck and that rug would look lovely near my Andirondak chairs in the summertime when we DON'T have rain:-))
ReplyDeleteOh so beautiful awesome work ! I love your porch ! Have a good day !
ReplyDeleteOh boy does that porch ever look inviting..the sun too! Great idea on the porch rugs.
ReplyDeleteThe porch rug is a taste of summer yet to come, love it.
ReplyDeleteNow, we would call your porch a deck or a verandah. I would LOVE a rugs like yours too. The trouble is that the rain blows in, both at the front of the house and at the back. I could put it in the lounge area and I would admire it every hour! Hope you are going, steady as she goes. Take care. xo
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I do not have a front porch, but I do have a screen in back porch. Your porch is lovely.
ReplyDeleteOk, let's cut to the chase...can I have your porch???...
