where? HERE.
when? NOW
The sky is very dark.
So I think I will just do my blog post , and not think about it. If it gets serious, I will take my lap top to the basement.
Good grief, this is the northeast.
We had company at the studio......our favorite company.
When O came in the door, she made a beeline for Sydney, and did some twirling on her way.
Little sun dresses are for twirling, after all.
Then she went looking for her 'cucharacha' toy.
And then she did a little dancing.
And did a little shaking.
Then it was time for a little weaving.
We were very serious today.
No kisses. She made that very clear.
I said, "Well, how about a hug?"
She said, "Not neither."
She is not quite TWO.
I think she is getting her boundaries straight.
Good girl.
It was cool in the studio, even though it was brutally hot outside......and no, there is no A/C. We just kept the windows closed, and it stayed quite nice pretty much all day.
When O left, I worked on this rug. These double binding rugs are wicked fun to make, and also very time consuming. This one has hemmed edges.
All in all, a pretty quiet day at Crazy as a Loom, and that was ok with me.
Nice pictures to capture a cute girl!
ReplyDeleteLittle O will be a weaver in no time. Love that she spends so much time there.
ReplyDeleteI twirled this week-end too, but got dizzy and fell down. Just can't handle the twirly whirly stuff anymore... LOL
Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou don't get tornados?
ReplyDeleteShe is such a little cutie, I sure hope one of my kids has kids...sometime.
O is such a cutie! I wish I was young enough to twirl around in a sun dress!
ReplyDeleteWe are getting rain from the bands of Tropical Storm Beryl. Gully washer type of rains but no tornado warnings, which are rare here in the mountains.
I love the double binding rugs. Very nice!

Oh, my word. That sweet little child! Adorable, Hilary.
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about that girl..she makes me laugh every-time. Love the expression when asked for a hug. It's such a great age. She is the same age as my grand-daughter, Riley. Just coming into their own. Hope this was a no headache day. Deb
ReplyDeleteJust so adorable!.. love the twirly girl sundress dance. I think you need to name a rug after her... something real colorful (not a stretch for you).. twirly girl.
ReplyDeleteshe is such a little cutie .. those sandals are too sweet, I would need to grab her and cover her with kisses .. oh and the rug's nice! :)
ReplyDeleteTwirly Girl... yup... fits to a T!
ReplyDeleteYour double binding rugs are soooo nice and I love how it makes my eyes play over the surface of the rug. Great job!
