Rx

Finally got my towels off the loom, here they are pinned and ready to hem.

I have yet to figure out why my headache is worse in the mornings and in the evenings.
By noonish today though, it was letting up enough to let me do some work.

The porch over at the studio was pretty disgusting after the winter, so I got busy.

The floor could use one more mopping, and the furniture on the far end of the porch has to go out to the barn, but otherwise, it looks a lot better.

Somebody doesn't want me to leave.

But I had a date with Roy.

We walk on the bike path between the canal and the river almost every day.

But one of our walks is along this path, on another part of the river.

We didn't see anyone else down here, it was just blissfully quiet.

Sometimes, that is just what the doctor ordered.
Or would order, if he had half a brain.

  1. Love the towels, Hilary. That path where you walk Roy looks exactly the same as a spot where I take Kane. I am going to have to take a photo of the path and show you. It is along the Mississippi River on the left and bush on the right. Isn't that nice that HH will give you a bit of a break at noon. I hate your headache so much. Hugs, Deb

  2. I would love to have a beautiful path like that, right nearby my house. No wonder you and Roy have your regular dates. Interesting about HH and time of day. But who the heck knows what that means? Not the doctors! Argggh. Damn HH, go away!!

  4. When you sleep, you are stressing neck/shoulder muscles just by the nature of the position you end up in... even if you are a side sleeper (I bought a side sleeper pillow) , and so you wake up with tensed muscles from the strain of it - a common problem for many. It eases up throughout the day as you move around... and then those same muscles fatigue toward end of day, and muscle tension headache commenses.

LOVE your porch and the color of those towels.

  5. Whew! I am impressed with what you get done in a week! I love the porch with the sun beam on it, and of course the cat :-) All that is missing is a big pitcher of Ice Tea.

Headache or no Headache, you are a lady with a mission and you inspire me. Thanks for sharing your lovely pictures.

  8. Although your place to walk is nice, I think I would skip the walk with Roy, and curl up on that porch, petting the cat!
