Just quiet.

Looking back, the last year has been tough in so many ways. Most of our family's problems have been health related, from headaches to broken bones, and worse.
Sometimes, responsibilities weigh heavy.
Sometimes, you just look for some serenity, wherever you can find it.

Is it here?  In the mountains, by the water?

Or can I find it somewhere else?

Is it in inside me somewhere, hiding?
I don't know.

I only know that my yearning to reconnect with myself is like a song in my head, a tune that keeps playing.
And playing.

  3. Life goes that way, times of hardship, times of sorrow, times of joy and times of loss. But each day is one foot in front of the other, moving forward with hope and a positive outlook. It's not always easy, but I do believe the good stuff rises to the surface more often than not.

  4. Just read my quote for the day from the Gratefulness org:
    WORD FOR THE DAY
    Sunday, Apr. 1
There is no large and difficult task that can’t be divided into little easy tasks.
    Buddhist Saying

Seems fitting, no? GL, my friend.
