Every once in a while, you need to get out of Dodge.
If you know what I mean.
So Lois and I hit the road and took the day OFF.
Even though we have no snow, you don't have to go very far north to find some.
And ice, lots of ice.
This is Schroon Lake, and there are people out there ice fishing.
Really.
I guess it has to be winter somewhere.
And more ice, this on Beaver Pond.
Did I tell you that L always comes prepared???
When the GPS on my Iphone got too annoying, L got her maps out.
I'd like this house, please, overlooking the pond.
OK, I'll be quiet now..........just enjoy the view........
I took a whole bunch of pictures, too many to show you all in one post.
Besides, when I got home, I took Roy for a five mile walk, so now I am failing fast.
But I feel like I am getting my life back, a little at a time, so it's a good, good tired.
More tomorrow.
Very pretty, but Brrrr
ReplyDeleteI love that house too... and such a beautiful area.. now I've gotta google. So glad you're feeling human again. Amen for solutions that work, huh?
