Taking a break.

Ah, Sunday.   Darn good reason to have a lazy day, if you ask me.
The studio will be there on Monday, and all the work I have to do will be there as well.

I walked around, and took a couple of shots for you.  Some things around here never change.
That's a good thing.
Shuttles, ratchets, pawls, Texsolv cords..........part of our everyday.

Old looms.   I love them.

OMG!   Miss Puss!!!  Have you lost your mind???????
Really??????

I don't want to stick around to see the fur fly.
Besides, I want to go home and drink tea, knit on my scarf, sit in a sunny window.

And you know someone is waiting for me.  There's a walk in freezing temps in my future.

Little lover boy, Roy.

Tomorrow is the first injection in my neck..........send good energy, will ya?
I want to be able to endure it, and I want it to work.
Amen.

  1. Be sending positive thoughts your way. I want it to work for you also. Ruth Ann, who is watching for a snow day since we are supposed to get about an inch with a bit of freezing rain. Does it hurt when you laugh at the thought of that?

  12. While you are there getting your first treatment, think warm sandy beaches, rolling blue waves, birds flying overhead calling to each other and Roy sitting there smiling at you with his tail wagging. You will tolerate it...

  19. Not that it's the same, but my friend was suffering from a bad back for months on end (with a headache) she went for shots.. the first shot was great, but she was a little sore at the injection site. the next shot was amazing... and followed up by four more. That was one year ago. She is totally free of pain now and out riding on an ATV this weekend in the Arizona desert. Go figger!

  20. I hope your neck is feeling better. (I can't even type the words "injection" and "neck" without kind of shivering.....but if it works to relieve pain, it will be worth it!)

Love your photos, especially the one of shuttles.....so peaceful and beautiful!
