Sweat shop

I had a stressful day, so let me just show you the Sweat Shop at Crazy as a Loom today.

First we have Lois, weaving medium sized bags on the Union 36.
Note the short sleeves.
This is NOT a house with central heat.  OK?

When this warp is done, we are moving this loom to the back room, where it will live with the Reed Ideal.

And then we have Tammy, recently laid off, spending time at Crazy as a Loom,  weaving Chunky Solmate Sock Rugs.

And NO, it is not summer in the northeast.
This girl is working up a sweat.
But both she and Lois are warmer blooded than I am.
While they are weaving in the south end of the house with BARE SKIN showing,
I'm in by the pellet stove with long sleeves AND a sweater.
Shivering.

Don't kill me Tammy.  You're beautiful.

  1. What a busy and lovely group of women at your studio. What? No photos of Sydney lounging in the sun? Or was she next to the stove? She was probably on the inspection line making sure everything was soft and comfortable enough.

  3. I hear you about always being cold. Hubby runs hot and I run cold. It's way I'm always dressed like a schlep in layers of clothing. I'd be by the pellet stove too!
