Christmas day and today were somewhat difficult because my headache was a roaring, nerve wracking 10.
I did my very, very best to act "as if" it wasn't there. A challenge, to say the least.
These two sweet faces help, believe me, they do.
In fact, I can't think of much that makes me happier. Look at them. Can you blame me???
Got to the studio this morning, and anyone could tell from my face, that it wasn't a good day.
But we had work to do, so I told L, "we're ignoring it."
And we did.
Reminds me of that saying..........mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.
This is a 5'x7'. In bright colors. BRIGHT.
Two of them.
We finished one today.
We rock.
And as crazy as it seems, accomplishing something IN SPITE OF the headache, makes me happy.
Otherwise, the headache would win, and I would lose.
I would still have the headache, and be miserable because I did NOTHING.
This way, somehow, it makes the pain more doable.
Doable. Now that's a concept.
When are you "doing" the next consult?
ReplyDeleteArrrrgh. And I thought it was getting better. Darn.
ReplyDeleteThat's disappointing. I was hoping you would have a headache-free day. Oh well, back at it and I see you are gettin' it done! You're amazing. Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that the headache is back. Glad you were able to get some stuff done anyway, but wouldn't it be nice if our bodies would cooperate better.
ReplyDeleteDitto what Karen and my sissy said.
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of your determination and strength of character. I think I can learn from you. . . .
ReplyDeleteMary Agenten
This hurts just thinking of it. Oh, my friend.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry, Hilary. When is The Next Step? You don't deserve this kind of pain--nobody does! Your two sweethearts have amazing eyes...
ReplyDeleteI've lost track - the docs are doing something?
ReplyDeleteI hope the new year brings relief . and those faces are gorgeous
ReplyDeleteI am in awe of your determination, also. Totally. Those drs. don't seem to be earning their keep, though.
ReplyDeleteAnd your little girls??!! Keepers, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteThose two faces with those smiles could make me happy no matter what. they sure are beautiful young ladies!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get some more permanent relief SOON!
Beautiful girls. Beautiful rugs!
ReplyDeleteI sympathize with the headache. I've been in treatment for chronic migraine for over four years ( just the same headache the whole time.) But it finally seems to be getting better with age, which my doctor says will happen. Finally, a perk for aging!
