There were several lovely little shops and Maya was a golden retriever that belonged to one of the shop owners.
She followed the kids and they ended up taking her back.
She loved them, and they her.

They left us on the island at 11am, and the boat didn't leave until 4pm. My daughters were worried that the kids would get cranky having nothing to do all that time.
They needn't have given it a second thought.

There were so many little paths, and there was immediately a sense of ease.
They ate lunch, and then they were ready to tackle the island.
Once you got away from the little village, the rest of the island was wild.

Just wondered.
I think it needs to be cleaned, cause sometimes, it won't take the picture. No matter what.
The only vehicles here are ones that they use to haul stuff back and forth to the boats. I saw a couple with license plates, and couple without. They also use golf carts.

I'd heard of it, but never even thought about visiting...until now! Only...can I bring your eyes along? They see so much beauty in ordinary objects!
ReplyDeleteI had to sit and stare at all your photos for bit, especially that view of the hotel. Very nice. ~Lili
ReplyDeleteOh, Hilary. I think I love it. I'm looking up that hotel! It's not a place I can see my husband staying, but still. I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh this place looks perfect. Your photos so wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed that more than I can tell you. We didn't get to the coast this year. I grew up on the coast and miss it terribly at times. I can absolutely smell the air in your pictures.
