Part I, be a sport.

While it has rained buckets all day today, with the sun just barely peaking out at 4:20pm, yesterday was major sun. It was hot, and I picked this Saturday to drive an hour away to see my grandkids in their respective sports events.
First off, my little soccer player.

She is tall for her age, and next to the other 6 year olds, she looks much older. She was very happy to have her Mimi in attendance.
But she could still get annoyed, as evidenced.......

While this next picture is not entirely in focus, I loved the way the hair moves, and the sweetness of difference between these two little girls........a ponytail in curls, a flip in straight.

She has all the moves, and as yet, none of the aggressiveness that makes points.
But she is, after all, only 6.

Funny how when you have daughters, you never imagine that there could be other little girls that could capture your heart. It seems impossible. What little girls? Where? How????
