Just because I live in the country does not mean that my sheep want to meet your dog. People don't understand how much harm their dogs can do (or just don't care).

Glad that Roy takes it in stride.Suehttp://www.majorasue.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5818397854598010989.post-20198211691887472012-03-12T22:07:07.688-04:002012-03-12T22:07:07.688-04:00Thank you for sharing your part of the USA with us...Thank you for sharing your part of the USA with us. My bouviers are very gentle dogs and we are constantly coming across loose dogs that NEVER come when called....I spoke up and said...do you really want to watch your dog get attacked or killed....honestly have some concern for your pets well being and my state of mind. I am always on edge waiting for the next dog to come charging! Common sense is gone.
Kim :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5818397854598010989.post-34413966307021341732012-03-12T09:14:26.041-04:002012-03-12T09:14:26.041-04:00THanks for taking me on a woods walk! I'm jealous, you have lots and lots of lovely deciduous trees!

I saw a couple today at the Home Depot with a little dog that was not on a leash. It was running around the store. I couldn't believe it. Back in the old days, if you crossed the line you would be asked to leave a store, it seems people can do whatever they want now. Later I saw the same people in the parking lot, again with the dog running around. The dog was not obedient at all and was running all over. The people kept yelling at it and trying to snatch it up, but it took them a good five minutes before they were able to grab it. I'm guess they do the same thing at the next store.

A little commonsense goes a long ways. The Cat Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17862401517530290759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5818397854598010989.post-11282724601734644962012-03-11T20:09:47.368-04:002012-03-11T20:09:47.368-04:00Ah, that's my pet peeve. I used to walk with a large walking stick just to keep between me and the dogs.

Today, all the dogs we met were on leashes.
